This 5 Session On-Line Blogging Workshop will walk you through step-by-step in creating your own blog or website using Wordpress.  By the end of this 5 Session course you will have a fully designed Blog or Website (or both) and know how to change, modify, add content, and change designs on the fly.  With the workshop you will now be able to create multiple websites or blogs with ease in less than an hour even if you don’t consider yourself tech savy!

• October 26 – Creating a WordPress Blog or Website from Scratch! (Note: You will need two things to set-up your Blog/Website. 1. A domain name – regularly around $10 a year (I will show you how you can get one for free). 2. A Hosting Account (I will show you what I recommend so you can build multiple websites or blogs for less than $100 a year!)

• November 2 – Widgets and Modifying the Design - Now that you have created your Blog or Website we will look at setting up Widgets and Modifying the Design.

• November 16 – Blogging Essentials – Understand the foundation, purpose and essentials for blogging effectively.

• November 30 - WordPress Plug-Ins.  WordPress allows you to add additional features and functionality to your blog/website.

• December 7 – Monetizing your Blog/Website – learn several ways in which you can earn money from your Blog/Website!

This is an Interactive Workshop. So you will get support and feedback from the group on how to increase the effectiveness of your blog/website.  We encourage your to fully participate to get the most out of this on-line workshop.
