Over the past few days Google has introduced a change to the way it displays results for local searches. Gone are the old maps listings. Instead, those results are "blended" with the regular search results, and the map is placed in the sidebar where it pushes down the paid advertisers:

The holidays are a perfect time to show gratitude to everyone you know - family, friends, and of course, your clients.

Not having a lot of experience meeting new people, especially in groups, I have to talk myself into going to events that have many more people I don't know than I do.
To me it's similar to starting at a new school as a child. Cold sweat, crazy thoughts of escape "I could run away", excuses to not go at all "But, Mom, my stomach hurts... really!", and the most terrifying "What if no one likes me?".
