Greetings form Australia where we've just celebrated Christmas and have long holidays in our summer!
Are you:
If you’re like most people starting back at work after the holidays, you’ve probably got a lot on your plate this year! So now is the time to set some priorities after all, there’s less than 350 sleeps before this year will be gone too.
I suggest you take a few minutes, right now, to think about what you want to achieve and why that’s important to you. If you’re serious about achieving that goal, post it in a comment below (or just tell us the most exciting this you did on your holiday)!

I'm having a clean sweep in the office and studio, clearing out all the clutter and planning for an absolutely awsome 2012!
Karen, I love my Tea breaks, they can save your sanity, espescially if accompanied by a lamington or bicky and give you time to re-energise and come up with brilliant new ideas whilst swirling the leaf litter at the bottom of the cup... (giggle). Even with my kids art classes, I schedule a short "fruit break" they have a piece of fruit and drink of water, it helps them focus during longer sessions...

Glad you love the Aussie style! The tea break is a real aid to learning! I often present a workshop at the International Mentoring Association international conference in USA and I always make breaks even though they are not scheduled. I'll be in Orlando Florida on 14 March 2012 running How To Plan Your Mentoring Program for IMA. Can't wait!
Comment by Karen Sherwood - Women's Network on January 11, 2012 at 8:41pm Hi Ann! I taught at the Australian Embassy in DC right before Christmas and they had the front of the Embassy decorated with a Santa on a surfboard pulled by Kangaroos! Love It! It was also the 1st place I've taught that had a morning and afternoon tea at breaks. I LOVE Australians!
I have an amazing vision for the Women's Small Biz Network. I've been working hard on putting the pieces together to provide the tools, support and education that we, as women, need to transform our "business hobby" to a real businesses that provides a life, time, money, freedom and significance while making a difference in the world, and connecting and collaborating at a whole new level! This is the year that the vision begins to be realized as more women on the network connect, share, collaborate.
Thank you for participating Ann in that vision and Thank you so much for being a part of the Women's Small Biz Network!! Looking forward to a magical and prosperous 2012!
